Premeeting Assignment
Everyone please spent 30-60 minutes looking at the photos & videos in the Scientific Overview, then jot down your impressions & guesses of what happened before you hear what we think happened.
Tuesday (Jan 23) - Arrival & Getting Settled in at the Biosphere 2
- 6 pm - Campfire with Introductions plus food & drinks
- the disorganizer for this will be Ty Roach
- everyone be ready to introduce yourself (e.g., name, skill sets, research interests, etc).
Wednesday (Jan 24) - Presentations
- 7:30 am - coffee & breakfast snacks
- 8:00 am - Jason Baer & an overview of the Arks project so far
- 9:30 am - coffee & breakfast snacks
- 10:00 am - Lightening Talks
- 5 minutes to discuss a research topic
- everyone is encouraged to give a Lightening Talk
- noon - catered lunch
- 1:00 pm - Biosphere tour & free time
- 6:00 pm - Dinner
Thursday (Jan 25) - Presentations
- 7:30 am - coffee & breakfast snacks
- 8:00 am - FLR - ways of thinking about complicated systems
- 9:30 am - coffee & breakfast snacks
- 10:00 am - Lightening Talks
- 5 minutes to discuss a research topic
